Christian Family Care and Margaret Wardale had a wonderful celebratory afternoon tea at Moggerhanger Park to recognise her retirement at the end of March this year. Margaret has been with CFC for nearly 25 years but is now enjoying her new found time with her family
Congratulations to the best fundraiser... Dennis Tailor
We are pleased to announced that, following a nomination from Christian Family Care, Dennis Tailor was presented as a finalist to attend the Pride In Bedford Awards Evening on the evening of Monday 12th May 2008 as ‘Best Fundraiser’, at the Park Inn Hotel, Bedford.
The event, co-organised for the first time by the Times & Citizen and Bedford Borough Council, sought to recognise the ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help make the town a better place to live and work. Some extra-ordinary stories were heard on the evening.
This was even more enjoyable due to the fact that Dennis actually won the award for Best Fundraiser and was presented with this and a certificate by Trudie Goodwin (Actress from ‘The Bill).
This is a Well deserved achievement for Dennis and it was a nice way to show our appreciation for all that he does and has done over the years to support Christian Family Care.

A fundraising event for the work of Christian Family Care project 229.
The event will be a 100k (60miles) Cycle ride following the 'Bunyan Trail'. Click here for futher details
Childrens Centres
It is an exciting time for CFC, as we have successfully won tenders to run four Children Centres located in Bedford, Clapham, Sandy and Potton & Wesley.
The Children’s Centres in Bedford and Sandy have already successfully started initial services and we are aiming to start services in Clapham and Potton in the very near future.

Fundraising ...
As a Charity we rely on people within the community to support the work of Christian Family Care. As an individual, I have been raising awareness and funds specifically for CFC for over 15 years.
Fundraising over previous years includes:
- Triathlons
- Marathons
- Runs - ‘Run around the Clock’ 24 hour relay around Grafham Water
- Sponsored Walks from Lands End to John O’Groats
- Cycle Rides from Lands End to John’ O’Groats and back to Bedford
The

distributed to local churches, agencies, partner organisations,
subscribers and supporters.
We
provide an update of current developments, as well as
providing a profile of new staff and trustees.
